NoBloat AI collects and processes the following information only when voluntarily provided by the user:
We do not collect biometric identifiers, facial recognition data, facial geometry, Face ID data, ARKit face mesh data, TrueDepth camera data, or any form of identity verification data.
Additional optional data includes name and age (stored locally on-device for personalization) and onboarding survey responses (stored locally to customize recommendations). Anonymous app usage analytics may be collected to improve performance and user experience.
When using the Face Scan feature, the user voluntarily provides a face photograph by taking a selfie or selecting an image from their photo library.
Before any face image is transmitted to a third-party AI service, the app displays a clear consent screen explaining how the image will be used and identifying the third-party service. The image is only transmitted after the user provides explicit consent.
The image is compressed to JPEG format and transmitted securely for AI-powered facial aesthetic analysis. It is used exclusively to:
Face data is never used for facial recognition, identification, authentication, advertising, profiling, or model training.
Face photographs are transmitted solely to OpenAI via their GPT-4 Vision API through a secure server proxy for real-time processing. Face data is not sold, rented, or disclosed to advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Face images are not stored on our servers. OpenAI processes the images according to its own privacy and data-handling policies and does not use submitted data to train AI models.
Face photographs and their associated analysis results are stored securely on the user’s device only, using iOS app-protected local storage.
Food photographs are processed using the same safeguards as face data. They are sent securely to OpenAI for nutritional analysis, not stored on our servers, and stored locally on the user’s device only. Food images are not shared with any third party other than OpenAI for analysis purposes.
All data transmitted for AI processing is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections using industry-standard TLS encryption. While we take reasonable measures to protect user data, no method of transmission is completely secure.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose personal data, face images, or food images for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.
All third-party services provide data protection consistent with applicable privacy standards.
NoBloat AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal or face data from children.
